My result was negative. But i got scared of that incident. Then on asking he said that the needle used is from a developed country and its used once then its locked. Can u help me on this i m scared. In the situation you have described I do not think there is any risk of you being infected with HIV.

If you were tested in Canada we have very good procedures and protocols in place to prevent re-use of medical equipment, and I can confirm that most needles used these days have safety locks that prevent the needle from being re-used.
