Can I still kiss my partner if I have an outbreak of genital herpes?

Yes, you can kiss your partner.

Because your outbreaks are on your genitals we know that the virus is connected with the nerves in that area and for that reason maybe present in that area. The virus related to your outbreak would not be present on or around your mouth so kissing during a genital outbreak is fine.
