Yes, you can get birth control as a teenager without your parents knowledge however you might want to consider discussing it with them if it feels safe to do so as you are making a decision about your health. Youth clinics are places where you can go without your parents knowing and you can talk confidentially to a nurse there about birth control options, the side effects, the effectiveness etc. You can get the birth control pills and condoms for free there. Youth clinics also offer free STI testing and treatment/ emergency contraceptive pill/ counselling.
