Hi
We don’t see HIV passing with the type of sex you have described. The main risk to HIV is when people have unprotected vaginal and anal sex.
Have a look at our “Know your chances” web page, it provides information on your chances of getting or passing an STI depending on how you are having sex.
The 4th generation HIV test is a good test and our lab has told us that it will pick up most cases of HIV by 6 weeks.
Given that you had a negative test at 45 days and the type of risk you had I would say there is no need to do a follow up HIV test.
Sometimes people feel that they need to do a HIV test after the window period is finished just so they can bring closure to what happened. If you feel this could be the case for you it may be worthwhile doing a final HIV test after 3 months.
