Hi
I have never heard of an STI passing this way or see a way it could happen from what you have described. There would be no STI risk from this.
We find that it is common for us to see people in the STI clinic that are concerned about STI risk in similar situations. It seems if someone has a strong feeling like shame, guilt etc… it can make it seem like they were doing something that must have some STI risk.
There would be no need to go for an STI test, but if you are having strong feelings that are concerning you I would recommend that it could be an idea to see a counsellor. All your information is kept private and they are good at helping people work through strong feelings.
If you need to find a counsellor in your area, have a look at our worry page, we have some counsellor links at the bottom.
