When a serviceman came to set and install my waterflosser I saw his hand had wound and a little bleeding,an he touched whole device(water flosser, handle, water tank and any thing else). Now I’m scaring that may his hiv positive blood went to water hose and i think that there is no oxygen into the thin and narrow hose, and i used that water flosser and water went directly between my teeth with medium pressure and made my gum bleeded.Am i at risk of getting hiv or hep c??(I don’t know his status of hiv or hep c) Should i get test??

Hi, thanks for writing in with your concerns. This is not a way we see HIV or Hepatitis C transmitted. As soon as blood is cold and dry, the HIV cannot be transmitted.
