Hi, thanks for your question. It is definitely possible for your body to clear HPV and for that strain of wart causing HPV to go away completely. In fact most people who are exposed to HPV strains, clear HPV completely. Of course it is always possible to come in contact with another strain of HPV through different partners. Having the warts treated, helps your body’s immune system identify the virus and start an immune response to clear it so you are already doing what is recommended. You may also want to consider having Gardisil 9, the HPV vaccination series.
