Hello, I'm curious as to whether it's possible to become infected with HIV from a woman sucking your penis, who is also sucking the penis of another man. I know it's basically impossible to get HIV from oral sex, but if there is another guy involved (who let's say hypothetically has HIV), would it be possible to become infected if the woman is sucking both men? I was involved in a threesome recently where this happened. I don't really have any reason to believe the other guy had HIV, but I'm curious about this anyway. Thanks for any help!

Hi and thanks for your question. Oral sex is considered to be very low risk for HIV transmission. There is a much higher risk of sexually transmitted infections like syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia being transmitted in the activity you described. If the three of you are planning to be sexual again, then having the conversation with each other about recent STI testing is recommended.
