hi I was engaged in sexual activity with a man, whose std and hiv status is unknown. we had our clothes on the entire time and there was no genital to gential contact. he fingered me vigorously and at one point i fondled his dry, flaccid penis. I may have touched myself with the same hand and am now extremely anxious about the transmission of genital herpes. I did not notice any lesions on his penis and the man says he has never experienced an outbreak, although I know that genital herpes can be asymptomatic. I understand that hand to gential transmission is low risk but what about genital to hand to genital contact? any input would be appreciated…
