Hi
HIV does not pass that way.
HIV is a fragile virus that does not live for long when it is out of the body.
We find that HIV is mainly passed when people have unprotected anal and/or vaginal sex with someone who has HIV.
HIV is also in the blood so it is possible that it can be passed if people share items related to injection drug use. For someone to have a HIV risk with blood you would need the blood to be fresh (not dried) and the blood would need a way of getting into your body e.g. blood splash to the eye’s.
Have a look at our HIV web page for more information on how HIV is passed.
Also have a look at our “Know your chances” web page, it provides information on your chances of getting or passing HIV depending on how you are having sex.
