Hi there, I have recently moved to BC and do not have a care card yet, however i do have my alberta health care still. Am i still able to come to the clinic and recieve full panel testing? Will I be charged? how much?

Hi there, I have recently moved to BC and do not have a care card yet, however i do have my alberta health care still. Am i still able to come to the clinic and recieve full panel testing? Will I be charged? how much?

There is no charge for the services provided at our STI clinics in Vancouver.

Also most walk in medical clinics will accept Alberta health insurance for the visit and any STI testing that is required. I would just call the clinic you plan to visit.

If you are not in the Vancouver area have a look at our clinic finder for a STI clinic in your area. Most of the clinics listed would provide free testing or accept Alberta health insurance, just give them a call before you go.
