We don’t see HIV being passed when receiving oral sex.

It is possible that other sexually transmitted infections (STI) can be passed this way like gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis etc… Have a look at our “Know your chances” web page, it provides information on your chances of getting or passing an STI depending on how you are having sex.

Given this there is no need for you to get a HIV test but it would be a good idea to get a STI test. It is common for clinics to offer HIV testing whenever you go for a STI test.
