Home / Answered Questions / Hi, After the potential exposure which I believe (kissing and mutual masturbation with semen on hand), I started to worried when a type of non itch red spot blanching emerge after 5 weeks on the incident. Now it is already 4 months over and I had went for rapid test and ELISA antibody test after 91 days i.e. 3 months and both are negative. I really want to accept fact that it was negative but the problem with rash non itch spot blanching type still come and go till now. It will stay at my arm, back of my hand, my leg for a week and then gone. They it will appear on another place.. I’m still worried with this and I had been to 2 skin doc but both giving me the same answer and ask for the second retest. On the rapid and ELISA test, at 90 days it is conclusive? should I still need to be worried of this? The rash, what can u suggest to me to look on this issue? I have no fever or other, only these rashes :( hope you can help

Hi

It is not possible for us to diagnose your rash online. However, the rash you describe is not a common symptom of HIV infection. HIV tests done in BC are accurate after 90 days.

It sounds like you are very worried about HIV.  Feel free to chat with us or go to an STI clinic to talk to a healthcare provider.
