Is there a certain STI that you are concerned about?
Standard testing would include Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and HIV screening. Testing for Herpes would only be done if you were having symptoms and HPV is diagnosed by symptom so if you were not having any symptoms such as unusual sores or bumps to the genitals, they would not test for these.
The only reason that tests may not pick these other infections is if it was too soon after your last sexual encounter. Check out our Types of STIs and the STIs at a glance chart to see the best time to test for these.
