i had vaginal swab and urine test done and the result indicated that i had staph infection. what do i do?

Hi

We don’t see staph as being an STI as it is common for it to be on the body, but it can sometimes cause vaginal infections if it happens to overgrow in that area.

I would get in touch with the person/clinic who ordered the test for you. They would be able to review the lab results with you in relation to the reason you had the tests done in the first place. If you were having vaginal symptoms they would be able to recommend a course of treatment.
