Thanks for your question. If you have genital herpes you can transmit it to another person through genital skin to genital skin contact. If you have herpes around your mouth then you can transmit the mouth herpes to your wife through kissing and through giving her oral sex ( then becomes a genital herpes for her). If you are already taking a daily anitviral medication to suppress the herpes you have, then it much less likely that herpes could be transmitted between you.
