I have had my test done and the lab report said they sent my hiv test to the bccdc. How do I find out my results and how long will it take?

Hi

It is normal for the different labs to send blood sample to the Provincial lab at the BCCDC to get tested for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis.

When testing is complete they will send a lab report to the doctor/clinic that requested the testing. Depending on where you are in BC this process can take up to 2 weeks.

The Doctor/Clinic who did the test for you would be able to provide you with this test result.
