It’s difficult to say what could be happening, especially without doing an assessment in-person. However, we do not see sore throats related to STIs or HIV, and it is likely related to another area of health.
We would recommend going to see a healthcare professional in-person. The health professional will need to ask you some questions, do an exam, and take some tests to see what is going on. It’s possible it could just be something like a cold/flu, or strep throat, or something else could be happening as well.
You can go to see your family doctor, a walk in clinic, or you could also have a look at our clinic finder as well. Let us know if you need help finding a clinic in your area.
