I just found on web that a person who tested every month is 5% more likely to get an infection. Is that right?

I am not aware of the link between how often a person gets tested and their chances of having an STI.
When we look at the chances of someone having an STI, it really depends on things like how you have sex or who you have sex with.

Testing is a good idea if you had unprotected sex with a new partner, have noticed changes in your body, or if you or your partners have other sexual partners and it is more than 3 – 6 months since your last test.
