If you are on the pill free (or sugar pill) part of your birth control pills then you are considered covered for any unprotected sex that you have during this time so long as you start your new pill pack on time. There is no need to take Plan B.

If you are concerned that your birth control not been used correctly, we would suggest seeing your doctor (or whoever prescribed your medication) or calling the Sex Sense Line where you can talk privately to someone who can discuss birth control in-depth.
