If someone has warts on their hands and they touch your genitals, can you get HPV down there?

Hi, thanks for your question.  The answer is no. This is because the types of HPV that cause warts on hands prefer dry skin areas. The types of HPV that are in the genital area prefer warm moist areas and are transmitted through sexual contact of the genital area.
