Yes, we think oral sex is a route of transmission for Hepatitis B virus, and Hepatitis B virus is found in blood, semen, vaginal fluid and breast milk. Fortunately, there is a vaccine that can prevent Hepatitis B, and many people in British Columbia have been vaccinated and are immune to Hepatitis B.
