I’ve only had 1 sexual partner and accept for recieving oral we’ve always used a condom. A few months after we broke up (which was last may) i noticed my vagina has become firmer, and a few days ago i experienced intense pain lasting only a few seconds. Are these symptoms and if so what should i be tested for?

What you have described does not sound like the symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

I would recommend going to see a health professional about your symptoms. They would be able to review your medical history and do an exam and testing if necessary.

As most STI do not show symptoms we recommend people go for a regular check up every so often.
