It actually doesn’t take long to perform a HIV blood test depending on what method is being used.

I don’t know where you got the test done but I have worked in some places where they offer quick turnaround times, they usually have the lab close by and have worked out a fast track system so people can get their results faster.

In our clinics we do not have a fast track process for HIV testing as we have HIV INSTI tests which are a point of care test we use in the clinics that give us a result straight away.
