Testing for these infections have different window periods (the time it is best to get tested). These window periods are listed in our Types of STIs. As you are in India, it is best to ask at a STI or doctor’s clinic in your area to find out when they recommend testing as they will be using different versions of the tests that we use in British Columbia, Canada and so the window periods may also be different.
