While it is possible for  HIV and Hepatitis C to  be transmitted through fresh infected blood directly into fresh bleeding wounds in an accident; this is not the way we usually see these viruses transmitted. If you are concerned about your experience; you could consider  testing for HIV and Hepatitis C at 3 months after the accident to cover the window period.
