While it is possible for  HIV and Hepatitis C to  be transmitted through fresh infected blood directly into fresh bleeding wounds in an accident; this is not the way we usually see these viruses transmitted. If you are concerned about your experience; you could consider  testing for HIV and Hepatitis C at 3 months after the accident to cover the window period. You can ask your doctor to order these tests for you or you can have these tests done at an STI clinic near you. To find a clinic near you, please see https://smartsexresource.com/get-tested/clinic-finder  Let us know if this does not answer your question or if you have any more questions or concerns.
