Do STI test that includes a blood test, and a regular blood test done in a hospital or other medical clinic . Will they both come up with different results or same results?

In BC, do syphllis and HIV get tested at the same time? When I am getting tested at the youth clinic, they only took 1 blood sample, does that mean I have only been tested for Syphllis or did I get tested for both Syphllis and HIV?
Hi, and thanks for your question When you have blood taken for an STI test, the blood sample gets sent to the laboratory for the actual testing. The lab tests the blood for whatever the nurse or doctor has ordered on the requisition (sheet of paper that gets sent with the blood). I am not feeling well since new year. Symptoms including sore throat (very mild, but never go away), unexplained weakness, and night sweat ocationly. Since I don't have other sti's symptoms, can I only choose to do the HIV poc test?
Hi, and thanks for your question. The symptoms you are describing are not specifically related to an HIV infection or any other sexually transmitted infection (STI).
