Hi there, I started to genital warts maybe 3 months ago. At first it didn't occur to me that it is genital warts as it was a little bump and it didn't hurt. Then there were couple more that started to show up. I got worried and started doing some online research and went into a walk-in clinic and doctor told me it is genital warts. The warts were close to the anal area and started to irritate me. I booked an appointment with the clinic on 655 West 12th Avenue but they couldn't fit me in until...
Hi I am not familiar with the treatment that your doctor has been using, but I think it is correct that alternative treatment are not covered by MSP. Given how painful the treatment is, and your concerns that you might not want to continue with treatment, you could go to another doctor or clinic for a second opinion. If you have MSP, you can go to any doctor or clinic for an exam and treatment... Read Full Answer
Hi. I recently was told by a partner of mine that she contracted chlamydia. Right away I wanted to get checked out so I booked an appointment with a walk in clinic. I told the doctor about my situation and he gave me a prescription for treatment medication. I went to the pharmacy to receive the medicine and was asked to pay cash for it. Many walk in clinics and doctors' offices will have the medications on hand, as will Public Health clinics or Youth Clinics (there are age restrictions at youth clinics). You... Read Full Answer

Hi there You have taken all three vaccines, so by now you should have long term immunity for the four HPV strains that Gardasil targets. The body usually starts to develop an immune response within 2 weeks after immunization with most vaccines. Studies show that you get high levels of protection after one dose of Gardasil. However, studies don't tell us how long that immunity would last if... Read Full Answer
If you took a 5 day dosage of zithromax for an infection other than chlamydia, would it cure chlamydia? The dosage was 500 mg on day 1 followed by 250 mg on the next 4 days. I know the standard recommended dosage is 1gm all at one time however I have read on different web pages that the 5 day dosage is a recommended dosage.
Hi Taking Zithromax (Azithromycin) over 4 days will probably not cure Chlamydia. You need to take 1 gm of Zithromax all at once to be sure that the Chlamydia is properly treated. Check out our clinic finder If you need help finding a place to go for treatment. Please leave a comment to let us know if this answers your question or if you need more information.
