A service provided by the BC Centre for Disease Control

Get started

Do you have a question about your sexual health? Ask a nurse at the BC Centre for Disease Control. We can give you up-to-date sexual health information and help you find the answers you need.

You can connect with a nurse in two ways: ask a question or chat.

Before you get started, there are a few things to know.

  • No names. Do not use your real name or include any details that could identify you or other people. Any names or identifying information will be removed by the moderator.
  • No medical diagnoses.  The nurses cannot make a diagnosis and will encourage you to see a healthcare provider if you have symptoms. The nurses can provide you with information and referrals to other services.
  • Be respectful. All content that is posted to SmartSexResource will be moderated to make the space safe for everyone to share their opinions. Any bad language, insulting or personal attacks will be removed.
  • No solicitation or spam. This space is intended for non-commercial purposes. Any attempts to sell products or services will be immediately removed.
