Does a female condom protect a me, as a male from STI?

Yes, female condoms provide good protection against STI.

They would both protect the male and female person if either of you had an STI.

Condoms can provide different levels of protection depending on the STI. Have a look at our “Know your chances” web page, it provides information on your chances of getting or passing an STI depending on how you are having sex and if a condom is used.
