I am a guy.I had sexual encounter with the same girl many times in the month of December. I had protected intercourse but unprotected oral sex in each encounter. In the month of January, I had blisters in my groin area - same size pink in color in one line right side. The same happened on my left side after two/three days. They popped out in a week and formed a region very itchy and red. When showed to doctor, he told me it's a fungal infection. It has not gone till now. I am worried that I have some std. Please help.

I’m sorry, it is not possible for me to diagnose online.

The symptoms you described certainly could be a fungal rash. You did not say if your doctor gave you anything to treat the rash and an untreated fungal rash can stick around until it has been treated. If the rash is still there after this amount of time it is important to follow up with your doctor or other health professional. You can use our "Find a Clinic" function to find a clinic in your area where you could follow up

Fungal rashes like the area around the groin as it is a warm moist area. They are usually caused by an overgrowth of yeast. To find out more about yeast and ways to control it check out http://smartsexresource.com/topics/yeast-infection
