I have a question about Chlamydia. Me and my parent both had Chlamydia and got treated with azithromycin. We both took the meds on Feb 24 in the morning and then had sex on march 3 at night, was this too soon to have sex? is it possible that we reinfected our shelve?

Hi, thanks for writing in with your concern. If you are writing about sex that you are having with your parent, then it is important for you to know that sex with parents is called incest and is illegal. You cannot give consent to sex in this situation and there is help available. To talk to someone confidentially, you can call 1-800-668-6868 which is the Kids Help Line. Re chlamydia: if you meant to write partner instead of parent then this advice is for you: If you both took medication for chlamydia and did not have sex for 7 days, then you have both been treated and it is okay to have sex again. You have not reinfected each other.
