After 2-3 weeks i got fever(typad), at that time it was very huge rainy season and i got weat, the Doctor told due to severe cold you got typad. I had an HIV rapid test at 3 months and 20 days and again at 4 months, the test were negative. Getting fever is it the sign of HIV or am safe because of HIV test results.

Hi

Receiving oral sex is not a risk for HIV. You might want to check out our charts called “Know Your Chances“. They have lots of information on different ways of having sex and the chances of getting or passing STIs.

In BC, the HIV rapid tests used are accurate at 3 months after a contact.

If you were tested here, then you should not have to worry anymore about getting HIV from that contact.
