Thank you very much for reply to me. Please help me as I am very nervous. I had oral sex with a HIV infected girl on 24 May 2014. I did lick, suck and bite her nipple twice( no brest milk comming), she too lick and suck my penis long time and got my semen to her mouth. I am so concerned and confuse about this case. Since i have been all the time careful to have a safe sex and also so scared to take a test. As your early mail there is no way to get infected HIV. Please tell me if it is possible to get infested STI through the described condition? If I infected any STI how long it will take any symptom what can I do now please help me.

Hi again,

You are right, none of these activities puts you at risk for HIV. You might get another STI this way, though, if she had another STI when you had oral sex. You can get syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea or herpes from receiving oral sex without a condom. Different STIs can take different amounts of time before being detected on tests or showing symptoms, and some never have any noticeable symptoms. You can look at the "STIs at a glance" chart to find out about the best time to test. We usually suggest that 2 or 3 months after unprotected sex is a good time to get tested for most STIs. If you do get any symptoms like burning when you pee or sores or rashes on your penis, go into a clinic right away.

Let us know if that helps answer your questions,

Health Nurse says:

About 6 weeks after the risk is a good time to test. You can test again at 3 months to be sure you did not get syphilis.

I am unsure what that fungus could be I would recommend asking your doctor.

Health Nurse says:

Have a look at our “STI at a glance chart” It provides information on what treatments are available for certain STI.

Dear Please explan below
(that is on whom oral sex is being performed) the risk of acquisition of the virus is practically zero. For the person placing his or her mouth on someone else's genitals, the risk may be slightly higher but still very very low. Theoretically, obvious cuts, wounds, sores, or infections in the mouth could raise this risk.

I did oral sex 24th may what do you think I want to check for STI ? now its ok to test 6 week now.

Health Nurse says:

6 weeks would be a good time to get checked for an STI. Just tell the health professional you see what happened and they will recommend what tests you should get and if you need to do any follow up testing.

ranjsi says:

If I had antibiotics for fever can get correct result after 6 weeks

Health Nurse says:

In BC Canada we say that antibiotics could interfere with certain gonorrhea and chlamydia tests that we do. In this case we would recommend testing 4-6 weeks after you finished your antibiotics. This only applies to gonorrhea and chlamydia tests. I would talk with the people who are doing your testing.
