SERVICES: Full STI Testing (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV)

NOTE: LifeLabs ONLY accept urine samples, not swabs

                Please print off your requisition and bring it with you OR email your requisition to: PatientREQSBC@lifelabs.com. LifeLabs will not provide requisitions.

• On-Demand Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing is a great way to get routine STI testing if you do not have symptoms of an STI and if you do not need to speak to a health care provider. Patients would require active MSP coverage for testing. In the absence of MSP coverage, patient would be responsible for collection fee and testing. If you need to be treated, a nurse will contact you.

How to book an On Demand STI test 

• Online booking:
  • Visit the outpatient laboratory booking system
  • Create a profile if it’s your first time
  • Choose your lab location and select “Lab test – Adult”
  • Pick an appointment date
  • Select “Patient will bring” for lab requisition. A lab requisition will be ready for you at the lab – no need to bring one. 
• LifeLabs: Find your nearest location and either book an appointment online or walk-in, depending on the location
• By phone: Call the Customer Service Support team at: 1-800-431-7206
• If you already have a lab appointment: Let lab staff know you’d like “On Demand” testing when you arrive.
