The Public Health Agency of Canada recently released a new guide on HIV Screening and Testing for a range of care providers. This webinar will discuss some of the issues that have informed the key recommendations in the guide, and will also provide suggestions on how the Guide’s recommendations can be communicated to the general public.

October Workshops: HIV Testing Workshops at BCCDC
October 23 – 25, 2013
Open to nurses, physicians and nurse practitioners in BC, these workshops are designed for health care professionals who provide HIV testing to clients and/or assist with partner notification and counseling.
Three workshops will be held at the BC Centre for Disease Control in Vancouver.
Point of Care (POC) “Rapid” HIV Testing
October 23, 2013 (Wednesday PM – 0.5 days) or October 25, 2013 (Friday AM – 0.5 days)
HIV Pre and Post Test Discussions
October 24-25, 2013 (Thursday to Friday AM – 1.5 days)
Partner Counseling and Referral Services (PCRS)
October 25, 2013 (Friday PM – 0.5 days)
