Webinar presentation: HIV and other STBBIs among youth in Canada

A new Population-Specific Status Report on HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood borne infections (STBBIs) among youth in Canada has been completed by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The report provides a detailed synthesis of what is currently known about factors that increase vulnerability or resilience to STBBIs among youth in Canada, along with recent surveillance findings for this population aged 15 to 29 years. The report includes useful evidence to inform future policy, program and research directions.

In this webinar, PHAC will highlight key findings from the report. This presentation will be of particular interest to individuals working in public health, the community-based sector, research, government and academia undertaking communicable disease prevention and control among youth.
