World Sexual Health Day event at SFU this Friday

September 4th is World Sexual Health Day 2015 – Sexual Health for a Fairer Society

This year, World Sexual Health Day will focus on Sexual Health and Justice, Sexual Rights and Human Rights. With this theme in mind, Simon Fraser University will host free, informative and engaging talks by local experts about sexual health and justice-related issues.

Dr. Lori Brotto, R. Psych., Associate Professor in UBC’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, will explore the question, “What does the FDA approval of Addyi mean for women’s sexual health?

Shannon Griffin, RN, MN, Sexual Health Clinician with Men’s Health Initiative at Vancouver Coastal Health, will speak about “Men and their sexual health

Dr. Dorothy Shaw, Vice President, Medical Affairs, BC Women’s Hospital will reflect on “Cultural aspects of women’s sexual health in the global village

  • When: Friday, September 4, 2015 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Doors open at 3:30pm.
