Pristinamycin Treatment

Pristinamycin (Pyostacine®) is an antibiotic taken by mouth for the treatment of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) when other treatments can not be used. Pristinamycin is only available by special permission through Health Canada which must be requested by your healthcare provider. Updated May 2025 in English.
